The Colorado Bears Boulder site offers year-round programs for field hockey players, grades K-12. These programs provide professional instruction for beginner and intermediate level players looking to grow their skills, as well as the opportunity to compete against other schools and club teams in Colorado. New players are always welcome!

UPCOMING SEASON
Our 2024 Spring Season is comprised of 2 weekly skills sessions and 2 game days against local competition. We focus on first touch, passing and receiving, tackling, channeling and double teams. We also work on goal scoring, flicks, smart decision making under pressure and small sided games.

Spring Season Resources
All players are required to have
- field hockey stick
- mouth guard
- shinguards / tall socks
- Turf shoes or cleats
- Water bottle
- CO Bears Reversible Pinnie (can use one from a previous season)
This program is for all skill levels. Advanced players should consider joining us on one of our Travel Teams. See the Travel tab below
Our Travel Teams are for the top field hockey players in Colorado who are committed to playing at an elite level. Many of our Travel Team players aspire to play field hockey at DI, DII, or DIII schools or wish to become the best high school athletes they can be.
Travel Team players commit to balancing their schedules throughout the year to accommodate their athletic and academic commitments. We participate in 5 tournaments together from Dec-Nov with three seasons of training: Winter, Spring and Fall. Travel Teams practice 1-3x per week depending on the season.
The Bears have the following Travel Teams based on Birth Year: U10, U12, U14, U16, U19
