OVERVIEW
Welcome to our Colorado Adult Field Hockey Community! We are a group of former and current athletes, ex-pats, moms, dads, Division I, II, III college players, coaches, teammates and so much more. We enjoy coming together to play the sport we love.
The Bears host year-round pick-up games and scrimmages as well as Adult Leagues in the Winter and Summer seasons.
Leagues are open to adults of any skill level, and select Top High School Varsity Athletes (High School is INVITE ONLY- inquire with Emma Bozek via email if you think you should be included in this group... emma@coloradobears.com). Youth that register without prior authorization from Emma may be removed from the program without refund.
Adult Summer League (June - July 2026)
Join us every Wednesday from June 10 - July 29, for fun and competitive field hockey games with the Colorado Bears! Our Adult Summer League is split into two divisions: Competitive and Social. See below for more details.
Competitive League:
Fast-paced, for current and former collegiate and international players who can compete at a high level. Top high school seniors graduating in May 2026 (going on to play in college) are also eligible to join. (select Varsity athletes by invite)
Social League:
For players who haven't picked up a stick in a while, and/or want a relaxed "show up, hit around, and have fun" experience. We've had boyfriends / husbands join in the past; if you're brand new, we recommend learning a few basics from a friend before the first session. There may be space available for select high school players graduating in 2027, 2028 or 2029. Please only register if you receive an email invitation. Unauthorized youth registrations may be removed without refund.

Early Bird (Feb. 25 - Mar. 7): $265 + transaction fees
Regular (Mar. 8 - Mar. 31): $285 + transaction fees
Late (Apr. 1 - Apr. 12): $299 + transaction fees

Draft Night (Captains Only): Tuesday, April 14 at Old Chicago's (3550 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80235)- Captains Duties: Attend draft night in person to select teams, communicate with teams, ensure your team provides a field marshal on your designated date.
- Theme: "Band or Music Group" – Dress up as your fav band member, or simply wear a groupie T-shirt, for a fun night of band themed team selections and free Bears Swag! Best dressed gets the first pick in the Draft.

Summer Bash Playday: Sunday, May 17
This year, we're kicking off the season with a Pre-Season Playday to help players get to know their teammates before league play begins. The tournament will feature a round-robin format.Competitive & Social Leagues: Wednesdays, June 10 - July 29
Times: Social and Competitive Division games can start at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM or 8:30 PM.
Please Note: Last year all Social games were at 6:30 PM and it is possible it will happen again this year.Location
