Miki Best

I’m Miki Best and I’m super excited to join the CO Bears Field Hockey Club as Assistant Director.

Many of you might recognize me as umpire-Garrett’s wife, or the Dita Field Hockey Lady, and while I still have a role with Dita, my primary efforts will be supporting Emma with club operations, continuity and communication.

Field hockey is my passion. I grew up playing and coaching and am so fortunate to work in the field I love. I met my husband, Garrett, playing field hockey and our two boys had tiny hockey sticks in their hand moments after birth. We are a hockey family! As an active member of the CO field hockey community for the last 22 years, and my 40 years of experience on the field, I am thrilled to give back to the sport I love in yet another form; helping to manage back-end operations and streamline organization to elevate the Bears Field Hockey Club to greater heights.
