Dana Bozek
American East Midfield of the Year, All-American, and America East Champion, Dana Bozek brings over a decade of playing and coaching experience to the Colorado Field Hockey scene.
During her impressive career at Lakeland High School, Dana was the only player to ever win 5 State Championships for the esteemed high school in Shrub Oak, New York (losing just ONE game in her entire career). She was also named MAX Field Hockey National Player of the Year in 2015, an award given to the best high school field hockey player in the county.
In 2016 she went on to play for the Great Danes at the University of Albany where she continued to earn an impressive list of accolades and awards. In 2019, Dana captained the team with the most points and goals for the season, as well as earned to sole title of the America East Midfielder of the Year.
Dana has coached at nationally recognized tournaments like the NIT, RCC, and the Futures Program (now called Nexus). She has also coached at highly successful clubs like the Hudson Valley Field Hockey Club and ADK for the past 5-10 years. Dana brings her contagious positive attitude and knowledge of the game to all of the athletes she coaches.
