Brittany Blass is originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, moving to the Denver metro-area in August 2020. She was a three-sport athlete at Crestwood High School, played field hockey, swimming and softball. She led her team to the District II AA Championship as well as an AA State semifinalist. During her time at Crestwood, Blass was named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State multiple times.

She continued her playing career at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2015 with a a degree in Biochemistry. She was a four-year starter and posted career totals of 48 points on 18 goals and 12 assists in 75 games played. She accounted for seven game-winning goals during her time with the Leopards on way to being named a four-time All-Patriot League selection. As a freshman, she earned Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors after being one of four Lafayette players on the all-conference team. Blass also was a two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Mideast Region selection.

Prior to moving to Colorado, she was a member of the coaching staff at Wilkes University and also coached high school along with club teams, ranging U12-U18. She is thrilled to join the staff at CO Bears. When she’s not coaching, she works as a Physician Assistant in a Burn Unit. In her spare time, she loves biking, hiking, skiing, golfing, and watching Penn State football.
