Amanda Forney
Amanda started her career in the 7th grade when she decided the night before to try out for the field hockey team instead of soccer. She went on to play for Pomperaug High School and helped clinch the conference and state championships in her senior year (2010). She was named conference MVP and All-Conference First Team.
Throughout high school, she played for the local club team, CT Revolution, and received a bronze and silver medal in the CT Nutmeg games.
Amanda entered the Colorado field hockey community when she started assistant coaching for East High School and most recently joined the Colorado Bears coaching staff this fall. She’s excited to continue working with the middle schools into the winter season!
