PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our Leagues are for beginner, intermediate and advanced skill level players to gain game experience in the off season.
Players must register individually and the Colorado Bears staff will assign players to teams before the league begins. Players will receive a League t-shirt that must be worn to all League games.
AGE GROUP
6-8th Grade
WINTER LEAGUE
The 2022-2023 Winter League will take place from Dec-Mar and be comprised of three parts:
- Part 1: Game Days (20 mins of instruction followed by a game vs one of the other Winter League teams... 4x 10 min quarters)
- Part 2: Skills Sessions (smaller group instruction emphasizing lots of touches on the ball, elimination skills, shooting, defensive footwork, black tackles, etc. No GAMES on these dates)
- Part 3: Game Days (20 mins of instruction followed by a game vs one of the other Winter League teams... 4x 10 min quarters)
Games will be played against Denver & Boulder Bears winter league teams

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
All players are required to have
- indoor field hockey stick
- left handed indoor glove (right hand optional)
- mouth guard
- shinguards / tall socks
- indoor court shoes or sneakers
- water bottle
- Winter League uniform shirt (included in sign up)
COST
Middle School Winter League: $375
REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be given. Registrations are nonrefundable after receipt. No exceptions. The Colorado Bears do not pro-rate or offer makeups for missed dates.

Play Day included in cost of registration.
Little Bears Skills Sessions:
Cubs- $250
Black Bears & Grizzly Bears- $350 one session, $650 for Both
CO Bears Pinnie- $40 (mandatory for all new CO Bears players)
