PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Our Interscholastic Middle School Team is for 6th-8th grade players who do not have a field hockey team at their middle school. Open to beginners (who are brand new to the sport) through advanced players.
This program is separate from our other offerings in that it is only offered in the Fall and only offered to players who don't have a Middle School Team to play for.
This program runs 3 days per week and is a mix of practices and games against other middle school teams in the state. These include:
Graland
Colorado Academy
Kent
St. Mary's
We will also play against the Colorado Bears Boulder middle school team.
TEAMS
We will split the players into two teams, each with their own game schedule. Most games are played on the same date, and at the same location therefore most practices will be held together on the remaining dates.
NAVY- Mostly 6/7th grade team (beginners)
GOLD- Mostly 7/8th grade team (intermediate to advanced)
LOCATION
Practices- Kent Denver School & Colorado Academy
Games- Kent, Colorado Academy, Graland, St. Mary's & Boulder
EQUIPMENT
All players are required to have
- field hockey stick (can borrow one if needed)
- mouth guard
- shinguards
- Navy & white socks (tall soccer socks are great)
- turf shoes or cleats
- water bottle
- reversible Colorado Bears pinnie (purchase at check out or can use one from a previous season)
REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be given. Registrations are nonrefundable after receipt. No exceptions. The Colorado Bears do not pro-rate or offer makeups for missed dates.
