Colorado Bears Field Hockey Club

High School

Overview

The Denver Site has a number of programs for high schoolers looking to become the best field hockey players they can be.

Our most competitive program is our Travel Team(s). The next Travel Team Tryout will take place in June 2025 for the 2025-2026 Travel Season that starts with the Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament each year. If you missed our Travel Team tryouts or simply want to improve your skills in the off season, you are welcome to join our High School Rising Stars Program (formerly High School Development Team).

Our Rising Stars Program consists of skills clinics in the Winter and Spring Seasons along with Playdays that are fun filled scrimmage days where players compete against internal and local competition in small sided games. Our Rising Stars Program is focused on building the fundamental skills required to play at the next level.

High school players may be invited to participate in one of our Adult Leagues. Adult Leagues run in the Winter and Summer Seasons.

This Spring 2025 Season we are starting a NEW Advanced Skills Program for 4th-12th Graders! This program is for intermediate to advanced players ONLY. For 75 mins each session, players will work in small groups on challenging technical skills like flicks, aerials, backhands, specific shooting techniques, 3D elimination skills, etc. We hope to see you there!
