Our 2025 Spring Season is comprised of 1-2 weekly outdoor  skills sessions for K-5th grade as well as 2 PlayDays (**local round robin style tournaments with Denver Bears and other local clubs)

We will focus on learning the skills of indoor field hockey including stick work, passing and receiving, tackling, channeling and double teams. We will also work on goal scoring, smart decision making under pressure and small sided games. Emphasis is on FUN for all Elementary School age groups.

New this season is our Advanced Skill session available for 4th- 12th grade.  If you are only able to do Sundays, players will be able to sign up for 1-2 playdays a la carte (links coming soon)

Our Elementary School Players AKA Little Bears program consists of  Cubs (K-3rd ) and Grizzlies (4th/5th) groups.

  • ADVANCED SKILLS SESSIONS

    This program is for Intermediate to Advanced players looking to improve on technical skills such as aerials, backhands, 3-D skills, advanced elimination skills, advanced defensive skills. This series is NOT for game play, but instead focuses on technique.

Season Resources

All players are required to have

  • outdoor field hockey stick
  • mouth guard
  • shinguards / tall socks
  • outdoor turf shoes or sneakers with a very strong tread (trail shoes)
  • water bottle
  • CO Bears Reversible Pinnie (can use one from a previous season or purchase new one)

No refunds will be given. Registrations are nonrefundable after receipt. No exceptions. The Colorado Bears do not pro-rate or offer makeups for missed dates.
