2024 Fall Fest Finale

2024 Fall Fest Finale

On Sunday, October 27th, the Colorado Bears Field Hockey Club hosted its biggest event of the season – the season ending Fall Fest tournament at East Boulder Community Park! The tournament brought together a record-breaking number of participants, with over 120 athletes from the following teams: the Boulder Bears, Denver Bears, Vail Field Hockey Team, and Rocky Mountain Field Hockey Club… Over 100 players were Colorado Bears players from our Fall Season!

This was not only our largest tournament to date, but also an incredible showcase of the skills, teamwork, and dedication that our athletes developed over the fall.

We owe a huge thank you to the coaches, umpires, and volunteers whose hard work made this day possible. Special appreciation goes to Colleen Bolls, our Boulder Site Coordinator, and Miki Best, our Assistant Director, for all of their effort in organizing and running such a successful event.

Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed in the Fall Fest, and an extra round of applause to our age-division champions:

  • Dare Devils (Middle School Division), coached by Erin Bronico, who played with incredible spirit and teamwork.
  • Itty Bitty Black Cats (Cubs Division), coached by Claire Foley, showed sharp skills and determination on the field.
  • Ghastly Ghosts (Little Bears Division), led by Morgan Sickels, displayed strong fundamentals and enthusiasm that made every game a joy to watch.

The Fall Fest wasn’t just about competition; it was a vibrant showcase of all the hard work our girls put in this season. Every athlete brought their best, showing off refined techniques, teamwork, and a love for the game that has grown over the fall months. From high-energy goals to impressive defensive plays, each game highlighted the dedication of these young players.

We’re already looking forward to our next event, the Holiday Jamboree, part of the Winter 2024-2025 Season! Mark your calendars for December 15th at Colorado Academy, where we’ll continue the fun indoors.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this season memorable, and congratulations again to all our players. Let’s keep building on this energy as we move into winter. Go Bears!
