Travel Details

Flight:
Families should plan to arrive by Thursday, January 23 and depart early Monday morning, January 26 to avoid missing any potential late Sunday games. The most convenient airport is Orlando (MCO), though families are welcome to use whichever airport works best.

What to Do:

1. Book flights if you haven't already
2. Confirm your daughter's USA Field Hockey membership is active. All players must be current members and list “Colorado Bears Field Hockey Club” as their club.
3. There will be a waiver for this tournament that must be printed, signed, and handed in at practice before the event. We will send this waiver as soon as it becomes available.

What to Bring:

Players should bring: outdoor field hockey stick, Bears uniform, (navy and white socks), cleats (we will be playing on grass) / turf shoes (with good traction are ok too), shin guards, mouthguard (a back up mouthguard is advisable), water bottle, sunscreen, layers (a base layer may be worn under a uniform if it is the same color as the shirt), and a hat/ soft visor for sunny days (players may need this between games). Players might want to pack their uniform in their carry on, vendors will have gear but you can’t replace a uniform if the airlines lose your bag. Sticks must be checked. There will not be a team bag for sticks.

Parking & Admission

Parking can require a long walk, and entry lines can be long, so please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early. Premium or Platinum parking passes are available for purchase. All spectators must purchase tournament admission passes. Discounted Disney Theme Park tickets (minimum two-day passes) are available through the tournament.
